About Me
Hi I'm Jane and I'm a portrait photographer based in Nottingham. I specialise in child/family portraits, Model Portfolios & Actor headshots. However I offer a variety of other photography services from Events, Behind the Scenes/Film Set photography, Dance, Bespoke outdoor portraits, Birthday parties and much more. I offer these either outdoors in numerous locations in the East Midlands or in my purpose built home studio in Arnold, North Nottinghamshire.
A little bit about my experience...
I qualified as a Nursery Nurse in 1993 and over the last 30 years have worked in Nurseries, Schools, Pre-Schools, Childrens Clinics and Respite care units with children aged between 0-18 years all with varying abilities and additional needs.
I have 4 beautiful children of my own, 2 of which have been in the model/acting industry since 2014.
Having my own children in the industry has given me a massive insight into how the industry works. And over the last 9 years I have had the opportunity to work with a number of industry professionals including Casting directors, Agency owners, Directors and Producers. I believe having this insight has given me the knowledge to know what is needed to create stand out Actor Headshots and Model Agency shots and updates.
With this knowledge I decided I wanted to offer affordable Actor Headshots and Model updates so went on a Digital Photography course and in 2001 I gained a Level 2 Diploma Qualification in Digital Photography.
I absolutely love my job and I know that both my early years experiences working with children and my later experiences working in the industry have lead me to this career path.
I'm extremely patient, calm and empathetic and have returning clients that travel from all over the country because of this.

TERMS & CONDITIONS
1) APPLICABLE LAW
a) The laws of England and Wales shall govern this agreement. These Terms and Conditions shall not be varied except by agreement in writing.
b) In the event of any conflict between these terms and conditions (including those relating to the time of payment) and those issued or submitted by the Client and in the absence of any contrary agreement in writing these Terms and Conditions shall prevail.
2) SESSION FEE
a)The session fee covers the photographers time and talent. The session fee includes digital images as agreed at time of booking.
3) DEPOSIT
a) A £10 or £20 deposit (dependant on photo session) is required at time of booking, this secures your session. Deposit can be paid by bank transfer. Until deposit is paid, your booking is not secure and the photographer reserves the right to book anyone else in for the certain slot.
b) Deposits taken are non refundable except in the event of Beau-Louise Photography cancelling the booking. Deposit can be transferred to an alternative Photo session.
4) PRICE OF PRODUCTS
a) Upon booking a session with Beau-Louise Photography a price is sent to the Client. A price list is also accessible to the general public on the website. It is presumed every Client is in receipt of and has read the price list, Beau-Louise Photography cannot be responsible for Client's failure to read price list prior to the session.
b) Pricing of products is subject to change at any time without notice. Product pricing is valid from the day of your session until making your final order.
5) FULLFILMENT OF OBLIGATIONS
a) Beau-Louise Photography shall not be liable to the Client for any failure, in whole or in part, to fulfil its obligations where failure arises as a result of an event or circumstances beyond its control, which may include (but are not limited to) equipment failure, inclement weather, illness or injury. In the unlikely event of total photographic failure or cancellation of the contract by Beau-Louise Photography liability shall be limited to a full refund of all monies paid.
b) The Client understands and accepts that the photographic coverage will be as Beau-Louise Photography's professional expertise determines. Special requests are not binding instructions although every effort is made to comply with the Client’s wishes.
c) If Client fails to read the supplied messaged with preparatory information, and therefore fails to carry out required preparations prior to a session, Beau-Louise Photography will not be held responsible for any resulting reductions in quality or quantity of images supplied.
6) DIGITAL ORDERS

The Online Gallery is a method of delivering the files to you and isn't intended as permanent storage. It is solely Client's responsibility to back up the images and make enough copies for the images to be stored safely. Beau-Louise Photography cannot be held responsible for loss of images due to clients failure to back up images.
b) Beau-Louise Photography cannot be held responsible for client printing their own images, cannot be held liable for images looking a different colour, crop etc.
7) ARTISTIC INPUT
a) Beau-Louise Photography shall be entitled to use its judgement regarding the style and artistic input in the production of pictures. This includes but is not limited to poses, props and number of images taken. Due to the willingness of subjects it may not be possible to capture all the pictures requested, or images to the client’s full expectations. In the event of uncooperative children at a session of any kind, for any reason, Beau-Louise Photography may not be able to capture any, or all the images the Client may have requested or expected. The Client is responsible for all children at all sessions.
b) Images are watermarked before presenting to Client. Chosen edits and additional edits requested by client after viewing their photos are carried out at the discretion of Beau-Louise Photography. Beau-Louise Photography reserves the right to charge the Client for extra images ordered. Prices may vary.
8) USE OF PHOTOGRAPHS
a) Beau-Louise Photography retains the right in all cases to use any pictures for the purposes of displays, advertising, portfolio, publication or promotion, of its work.
b) Beau-Louise Photography reserves the right to use Client's images for advertising purposes on social media, however, Client can request in writing that images not be used.
10) ONLINE GALLERY

Within 48 hours of photo session client will receive a link by email to view their images in an online gallery. They will stay live for client to make their order for 14 days.

All images in the online gallery are low resolution proofs for viewing purposes only, not to be taken for own use or shared on social media.
11) DELETED IMAGES
a) All non-purchased images are kept for 6 months. After that period they are deleted.
